Assets
Images is now Assets: one place for every image in the workspace, with collections, Unsplash photos, an Unused review and a Trash. Every control that adds an image opens the same Assets picker.
Assets page
Images in the sidebar is now Assets. Images show in a masonry grid. Use the slider to make them larger or smaller. Filter by All, Canvas, Products, Materials or Colors, or search by name.
Click Select to pick images, then save them to a collection or download them together.
Unused lists the images that no board, product, material or collection uses. Review them and move the ones you do not need to the Trash.
Images stay in the Trash for 30 days. Restore an image until then. After 30 days it is deleted.
Collections
Click Save on an image and choose a collection, or create one. A collection is private to you or shared with the workspace.
Upload straight into a collection. Each file shows its own upload state.
Unsplash
Open Unsplash in Assets or in the picker to browse free photos by topic, or search for a photo.
Save an Unsplash photo to a collection, or add it to a board, a product or a material. Each photo keeps its photographer's credit.
Assets picker
The canvas toolbar, the Node menu, the Batch Node, the product color image and the material image all open the Assets picker.
Pick images from the workspace, a collection or Unsplash, or upload new ones. In the Node menu, press 4 to open it. On the board, press U.
Canvas and viewer
Info shows where an image is used. Click a product, a material or a board to open it. Zoom into a cropped image at full resolution.
Images on a board belong to the workspace. Deleting a board keeps its images in Assets.
When you add images to a crowded board, the view moves to show them. A Batch connected to a Node shows its first image, or the Text icon for a text Batch.
A line you drag from a + is dashed, and the + stays shown until you drop it.
Fixes
Secondary text is a clear gray in the light and dark themes, so the items you act on stand out.
Generated images up to 20 MiB are kept. A cropped download keeps GIF animation and lossless WebP.
An image crop in a detail drawer stays a draft until you click Save.
Uploading the same file again uses the image the workspace already has.
