Crop and rotate images in place
Product and material images now sit in one square frame. After an upload, you crop the image in that frame: pick a shape, move, zoom, and rotate it. Tables, sheets, and AI use the cropped image. Pages also load faster, and paged lists no longer flash while the next page loads.
Crop images in the drawer
The product and material drawers show the image in one square frame. Click the frame or drop a file on it to upload. The frame then opens in crop mode.
In crop mode, drag the image to choose the area, and zoom with the mouse wheel, a pinch, or the slider. Pick a shape from the menu: Auto keeps the photo's own shape, or choose 1:1, 3:4, 4:3, 4:5, 5:4, 16:9, or 9:16. Rotate turns the image 90° clockwise. The keyboard works too: the arrow keys move, + and - zoom, Enter confirms, and Esc cancels.
✓ confirms the crop, and the drawer's Save keeps it. Cancel discards it. To change a crop later, use Edit crop. It starts again from the full original photo, so you never lose the parts you cut away. Replace and Remove are next to it.
The confirmed image shows whole on a white background in both light and dark themes, so product photos look as they do in a catalog.
The crop is used everywhere
Table thumbnails, process sheets, and AI fill use the cropped and rotated image, the same one you confirmed. Download still gives the original photo.
Zoom stops before the crop gets blurry, so a confirmed crop stays sharp at the size the app shows it. New photos from phones are stored upright, as the camera took them.
Faster pages and steadier lists
Pages load less code at the start. The Agent chat loads the first time you open the Agent panel, so the products, materials, and BOM pages open faster.
Images are kept in your browser and on the content network after the first view, so thumbnails show sooner on later visits.
When you change pages in a list, the current page stays on screen until the next one is ready. This applies to the BOM list, the image library, the material picker, and the platform admin lists. Buttons no longer shrink when you press them.
